We’ve switched to a new system which doesn’t allow personal messages by default. We’ll have to find add-ons for this which is a bit painful. To be honest Obama reads everything nowadays :p
This is the same server with the same owners, of course donations are not gone. We really appreciate donators and understand that they kept this server alive. The donation system has changed, so your donations will be “translated” into new donation rewards, for the same amounts. (e.g. if you donated 50 EUR for a +16 weapon which is not offered anymore, you will be able to choose from the new rewards) All donations are logged, all you have to do is send an email/talk to a GM whenever you feel like collecting the rewards. I will make a long post about the new donation system at some point, but keep in mind that NO DONATIONS ARE LOST. Hope this is clear.
Dances and songs will be set to 10 minutes for now (like it used to be on L2Extreme), buffs (including clan hall buffs) are at 30 minutes. Thanks for the ideas etherian, I will start some topics on these websites and post them here so everyone can find them.
Everything apart from the connection is ready. We just need to wait and see. Should have expected that they would mess things up. Just a bit more patience and then we can go live for good.
No problem, glad the issue was solved. Unfortunately they didn’t enable the new connection yet. Apparently there was some problem on their behalf and they should fix things by this week. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🙂
Install directx from the link I gave you because you might be missing some new .dll files and this will update your current directx installation. Graphics drivers are free, you shouldn’t need any code to download them. Just go to the company’s website (Nvidia, AMD or Intel) and download the drivers for your specific graphics card. You can’t play without graphics drivers.

Also download and install your latest graphics drivers (you need to know if you have an Nvidia,AMD/ATI or Intel graphics card to do that).

You need to execute L2.exe, as toolpunk said. It’s the exact item below that as shown in the image: http://tinypic.com/r/2qvv5l4/5 Please execute L2.exe and upload a screenshot of any “internal error”. You will most probably need to download graphics card drivers and directx 9.0c if you installed Windows 7 by yourself.
I think you are running a .bat file which we have for testing purposes. Try going to your Lineage 2 folder, the double click the system folder and find an executable called “L2.exe” which has the L2 logo as an icon. If it doesn’t work try to take some screenshots with the error and upload them here!
If you follow the instructions and use the updater on the website it should update your system to the latest version. Once you have that, you can simply launch L2.exe
