Hello, as I said a few months ago server’s been alive for a really long time but with rather low population.
Obviously I agree, that’s what I was trying to say. It’s situational. If there’s a bug that’s being abused most probably it’s against the rules, if it’s a mechanic then probably not. The example you provided is obviously on the “bug abuse” end 🙂
I agree with Baoulettes, I’m against implementing auto-pickup. Plus, you can do that pretty easily client-side.
I have that on the client already I think, I hadn’t added it yet because I didn’t think people would reach that much money 🙂 But yeah definitely will add this, thanks for reminding me.
Thanks for the report, the dances are fixed and should work properly after the next server restart.
Final Fortress is one of the most discussed skills, currently it is always on to give tanks a buff, until we can fix it to work properly.
We put all character starting points to Elven Village, but only Elves can talk to the Elf Newbie Helper, so we will be changing them back 😉
How much money did you put in your Clan Warehouse exactly? Is there anything else missing or just the adena?
Yep, the server was online for 16 days with no reboot so it makes sense to have such lags 🙂
I’m thinking we should have automated restarts every 2-3 days to avoid lags that happen when the server is up for many days.
Yes, I fully updated client. Yes, I am reffering to alt+tab. Critical error often appears when I switch to another application or lost focus on l2.exe window.
Just focus the chat window (press Enter) before alt-tab, and the game won’t crash.
We need more info than that. Have you updated your client with the auto updater? (C:\ Program Files (x86)\Lineage II C3\LineageII.exe)
Are you referring to alt-tab? Try to focus the chat window before alt-tabbing.
perching has been a bannable offense in retail and every free server ive played on. So yes its considered bug using just like if there was an exsisting enchant bug to make you + your weapon to infinity it would be bug using. In short anything you do that that takes advantage of the game to better yourself is “cheating”.
I don’t agree with this all the way. In most cases it applies, but using game mechanics to your advantage is basically coming up with a strategy to achieve something. Unfortunately we cannot make a list of DOs and DONTs that everyone can follow because simply each case is different. Therefore I try to be as neutral as possible when making decisions, unless someone has managed to really get on my nerves (which is their fault tbh) 🙂
This happens from time to time, it’s our ISP’s fault and I need to contact them each time to fix the issue, so it takes from a few minutes to a few hours.
