Hello. You need to create a second website account and then create a new game account from the 3rd main menu link. Every website account is tied to 1 game account.
I’m afraid I don’t have the time to investigate into this old DLL. You are free to investigate and let me know if you find something out.
If you still want to play you can always run L2 inside a VM (or just Windows Sandbox).
It is possible that Vista7.dll is no longer needed so I’ll look into it once I have some time in my hands.
As I wrote a few years before, I am not the original author of Vista7.dll so I can’t follow up on why it gets flagged as a virus. It’s also important to note that what some of these DLLs are doing will always get picked up by antivirus programs, since they are actually using mechanisms that antivirus programs are configured to pick up.
Can you share the scan from VirusTotal so I can have a look?
Finally, since Lineage 2 C3 is an old game, running it inside a VM is a perfectly fine way to play the game if you don’t want to worry about any custom DLLs.

The server ends up hanging quite a lot. I’ve written an automated restarter that detects if the server is hung up and restarts it.

There was a problem with updating accounts for the past few weeks, I have fixed the issue and bulk updated all password resets, so your account should show as “Activated” (green status).

Has this always happened after killing Antharas? Only players who have killed Antharas a lot of times in the past please respond to this question.
Have you created a Game Account (using the middle button from the main menu)? Your website account and game account are two different things.
We spoke on PM but I’m replying typically so that others know this:
Passwords are encrypted, I cannot give anyone their password. All I can do is (after you verify that you own an account) to tell you which email address you used so that you can change your password yourself. I don’t do that a lot though.
