Slightly slowly, but we’re getting there. There’s a lot of sysadmin operations that I keep doing which are needed to bring the server to a more manageable state for myself, so that future updates don’t take as long.
Hero system is mostly conceived, Rebirth system is mostly conceived (affects hero and vice-versa), new custom farm area is also conceived but a bit hard to deal with the “smart” AI that I want to implement. I guess I can tease another really cool idea that I’ve had for a while which I’ve recently finished successfully testing and can move forward with implementation ideas for it; it has to do with respawning of mobs and different “grades” of drops. There’s not much more I can say about that without spoiling it 🙂
Other than that there’s a huge list of ideas and small tweaks that I’ve thought about and will slowly start adding, but those also need the background sysadmin operations that I talked about before. Even though people don’t actually see it, there a whole lot of updates going on in the background and a major one is going to be coming out either this or next week. I know these updates are a success when nobody actually notices them.

silentz0rAdministratorVampiric rage is currently disabled against raid bosses to avoid some bug abuses. Once those are tested and fixed there will be a balance patch for Raid Bosses that will make fighters and tanks a lot more viable in those fights.
silentz0rAdministratorJust a wild thought, but what would happen if base critical of Fists is set to 8 or 6 instead of 4? The end game critical of Tyrant should increase to something around 250 or 300, or isn’t that how would it work? Sorry if the idea is stupid, am just thinking out loud.
That would be the way of increasing it, yes, but we need to check with C4/C5 up to Interlude to see what the progression of fist critical rate is.
Good idea:) In the chronicles of the Lindvior Critical rate Sword in 1,388 times more than a fist, and not 2 times as here
Can you explain that a bit better?
silentz0rAdministratorAll fist weapons have a lot lower base critical than the other weapon types. In fact, a dagger weapon has a base critical of 12, a sword has a base critical of 8 and a fist has a base critical of 4. This is consistent across Chronicles, not just C3.
If any of you have access to later Chronicles I’d like to see some information from later balance changes, e.g. what’s the actual critical rate of fist weapons in later Chronicles with the same buffs.

silentz0rAdministratorYes, there are Special Abilities with Soul Crystals, you can read about it in the Tutorials section of the Forum. It’s just the +4 effects that did not work so we decided to give them since 0 enchant.
Keep in mind that in C3 when you add a Special Ability to a weapon it will lose it’s enchant and go back to 0.
