Strider doesn't equip armor and weapon

Strider doesn’t equip armor and weapon. I tried a couple of them. The cheapest armor and weapon and the most expensive ones. I putted them in strider’s inventory and tried to equip them both by double clicking or right clicking them. It didn’t work either way. Strider’s stats remained the same, the icons in the inventory remained the same too. I tried with different lvl chars.
