As quoted by @toolpunk from our previous website:
Hi and welcome to our new site.
This time I’m going to impose some rules. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and follow them.
We do understand that English is not everybody’s first language, but at least try to follow the rules of grammar and spelling.
It is very, very hard to understand you if you write like “y u has taked my adens?!”.
First and foremost it’s “Why” and not “y”. And it’s “you”, not “u”. All the rest is pretty much wrong as well, but I’ll leave it at this.
What we want you to understand is, that while these abbreviations and net slang words may be ok in a private chat, they are not on a public message board.A forum is not a chat replacement.
Next thing. Feedback and feature requests.
We are always glad to hear from you and strive to fulfill all your wishes, but please, when making a request put it forward in an appropriate manner.
This means instead of “U MORONS!!! GIV US FEATURE XYZ!!!” maybe try it with “Hey thanks for all your hard work, I really appreciate it and wanted to suggest to add implementation of [feature xyz].
It would be nice if you could have a look and see if it’s possible.
We promise you, we will do our best to fulfill your wishes. Then, the usual stuff.
No sexual, ethnical, political or religious harassment is permitted. We ask you to help us on this and report questionable posts to the responsible moderators. We will take care of it. That means, the message will be deleted or edited and the violating user will be punished.
Keep it friendly.
Always keep in mind there’s a real person on the other end. Treat each other with respect.
No posting of warez. No exceptions.
No posting of pornographic material. Again, no exceptions.
No advertising of other servers.Any message violating these rules will be edited or deleted without warning and/or notification.
The user responsible for the message will be punished in an adequate way.
Depending on the severness of his violation, this can be anything from a warning to a permanent ban.Now have fun and let’s make this a great community.
